Maybe one of these canicule we'll accept why the Jeep YJ Wrangler hasn't enjoyed a beyond following. We accept that CJ guys were annoyed in 1986 back it was announced, because it was lower than the CJ, added streetable, and-gasp!-had aboveboard headlights. But really, the Jeep YJ Wrangler is a solid platform, and we feel it has been unnecessarily absolved .
There are those of us who absolutely like wheeling a Jeep with blade springs. While they ability not angle like their after coil-spring brethren, they feel solid, don't accept awe-inspiring mannerisms back you abstract the amplitude bar, and are an all-around actual anticipated setup.
The '87 admission Jeep YJ Wrangler was the affliction year from a basic point of view. The six-cylinder got the abominable computer-controlled Carter carburetor that never seems to run correctly, the capricious Peugot BA 10/5 transmission, and a bordering NP207 alteration case. But already that year was over, things started attractive up for the Jeep YJ Wrangler.
